Hey, just throwing an update to the Road Buster that Nicholas is on right now. I decided it would be best to give a sneak peek to the WIP on the color scheme and Nicholas is doing a knockup job of it. Here is a Wire WIP Update of the Model itself and as you can see the Blue and Silver really come out nice, We'll update you again with an in Engine shot of the vehicle with it's owner. Dec Project update
As you know our dear Anna has received a Job Offer and has taken it, and will more or less unavailable for now but will lend a hand if the time permits. She has also got a lot of work done for the team in regards to the vehicles and rigging and port overs. Jess, has been working hard as well between the project and her job she’s been a very busy person as of late and we appreciate that. Nicholas has also been very hard at work on building the various Voomers for the projects Npc portion of the game project. He’s also become quite fluent in vehicle design as well as you can see here with the Genom Road Bomber 9000 XL. If you will also notice the work being done on Halifax Corporation’s Construction Voomers for assistance in helping rebuild MegaTokyo to the splendor of yesteryear with todays technological overlay. Here are the two latest WIP shots we have at the moment.

Character and Mapping Dev Updates
Hello everyone, I and my team welcome you all back to the site. We did have some major issues over the past year, and those have been taken care of thanks to the pow wow Bruce and I had a few weeks ago on how to keep things on a better stream of progress. We’re now hosted, and site has been updated and brought back up to snuff with the help of Moc of http://www.mochosting.nl for his insightful mind on fixing the issues we were experiencing on the database import/restore. Since the site is back up we can also post news and progress on the project at hand as well. As some of you obviously have already read. We have a team of skilled individuals that work well as a precision based machine without being treated as such. Wanted to bring Sean DiVincenzo and Jean Gorospe on the spot at the moment because they deserve it, the skills they have brought to the team are quite impressive. Here are a few Samples of the work they have already done on the project as a matter of fact from our page at indie database to show the level and knowledge these two have. Sean’s work on The Hugh Geit Facility is outstanding, I am totally in love with the artwork and detailing. Here we have Jean’s work on one of The AD Police troopers in field gear. Team Jade Phoneix has two Oxford Graduates
Simon and Thomas Graduated with distinctions "Foundation Degree in Science with a Distinction in Computing". Cheers and Congratulations & Jubilations to The two men I knew would graduate and excel in thier fields. These two gentlemen are part of the true spirit of what Jade Phoenix is about. Striving for excellence and professionalism in everything we do in life.
Simon is currently already foring for 1 of Britian's finer educational establishments now as part of the web/it dept. Thomas is cirrently taking it easy as to rest for a bit seeing and knowing the experinces he's had over the past year or so. Simon has well when he gets the chance to. Reborn and re-Risen from the ashes of Old.
Hello everyone, As you can see we’re back in action, and we’ve been busy while the webserver was down. We’ve also had a few tradeoffs as well. Sonicist, is the The Site Co-Administrator as well as Head of the art dept. of the staff. We’re also hosted nowdays as well site wise thanks to Sonicist we’ll be here for a nice long while. A shout also goes out to Moc of mochosting.com of whom this site would not be where it is right now without his keen knowledge on e107 and programming mad skills. The new team is here as well since we’ve been using UDK there as I said some tradeoffs were done, no hurt feelings as far as I know of, and we all stay in touch. Japan 2025 A.D. the Kanto earthquake that hit at the same time the great planetary geo plates event occurred devastated most of Tokyo and destroying most of the surrounding prefectural as well. It was at that time Genom Corp and H.G. Corp stepped in with their resources and manpower to help rebuild Japan to semi livable state again. Thus MegaTokyo was created (Known to some as Genom City) to house and expand the Technological industries again to rebuild the globe after such a devastating event.
Since then, there have been great leaps and bounds in the technological Mecca of MegaTokyo. Sony, NEC, Renraku, Genom, H.G. Corp, Hitachi and other such giants developed and harnessed the cybernetic technology that was developed by several key minds of the scientific community of the late 20th Century to bring The Voomer age into existence. During this birthing process, there many obstacles to go through as any type of developing product.
Such was The Voomer outbreak of 2035. The H.G. Corp and Renashi Inc were taken over and infected with a Voomer Virus that rewrote and disengaged all safety protocals on existing voomers and even those being manufactured on the assembly lines ath their prospective plants. It was thanks to several teams and divisionary forces of the localized police forces that brought the outbreak under control and regained the plants while also capturing the cyber-terrorists that caused the incident.
Since then, there are still minor outbreaks of crime and terrorist acts committed by voomers that have been stolen, armed and reprogrammed to commit these acts by cyber crime syndicates. As with these acts, the ADPD was formed to handle these unusual crimes and acts of violence. You are a fresh breath of air to the force and will be a vital part of your squad. Welcome to Megatokyo 2041 and the ADP Force.
Skill strategy and teamwork will be the deciding force in this battle which side will you chose!
This game will be mainly a competitive fps for the PC platform.
This game is multi-player/Co-op Mission Based.
It will have a William Gibson feel/environment to it.
Access to powerful weapons and Vehicles will add to great team play and help with strategy.
Fast pace team action. Hi Energy Music Score, urban based combat environments.
Back story is a WIP, Classes, weapons and ammo stats, characters, pickups, urban map designs, concept art, game types, vehicle control themes, cut scene sequences, HUD development.
The concept was not just my own design but that of Mr. William Macphee who helped me with the conception of the game design. After discussing with the IP holders it was given the green light since no plans to make a game of this design were ever discussed nor planned by said holders.
We have a great set of modelers for props and vehicles and character setups. We have 3 coders working with the team as well. FX and Environmental are being handled by Lopar_XL we are in need of Animators and Riggers however;
I plan on this being a fledgling project. This is for those with jobs who also dream of developing games. Long term goal is to setup the group up and pending on the results? This would be us going commercial as a small focused game studio team. [Submitted by MaestroDaVinci]
